He is right

And I hope Apple works out the iTunes issue with Motorola and,
better yet, writes phone software based on OS X that they sell to
Nokia, Samsung and the like so I can choose a mobile phone
based on an OS that I know is secure. Apple writes software so
much better than MS.

The security issues alone with Windows for mobile phones are
enough to keep anybody in the know from buying one. Warning
to all mobile phone manufacturers - keep away from Windows
for phones, you will get new problems on your hands you can't
even imagine. The cost will be astronomical and MS will bear no
responsibility. Best not go with ubiquity as it just attracts high
contingency and security costs.
