Fiber is cheap, it's the headend equipment.
Interesting concept and one I would love to try, but my question is who pays for the hardware (not fiber)? The cost of this hardware makes the best PC look dirt cheap in comparison. I sure wish ZDnet would do a better job of asking the tough questions.
