8/10 Creative Lab's Audigy Value Soundcard in a New Red Box.

If you can't find Creative Lab's Audigy Value Soundcard anywhere for cheap good sound ... it's because it has taken on a new name and a new box. Now made by Rocketfish for Best Buy, it's now known as the Rocketfish RF-51SDCD - 5.1 PCI sound card. It's so new, Rocketfish doesn't even list it on it's site or have Internet downloadable drivers for it yet (they come on CDROM with the soundcard). It does use Creative Lab's 5.1 multichannel sound chip, so the sound is good. For $24, it is a decent low cost brand name upgrade to Realtek AC'97 integrated motherboard sound chips or knock off no-name sound cards with mediocre sound.
