7/10 Kodak Z712 IS camera resetting date and time

I have owned several Kodak cameras and the Z712 IS camera takes great pictures. I use the Kodak KCLC rechargable battery that is recommended for the camera and have not had alot of problems with the life of the battery. I have 2 rechargable batteries and the charger that goes with it. The only problem I have encountered is when changing out the batteries the date and time is resetting. Kodak says this is normal, if the batteries are removed for an "extended period of time" it will reset. In reading comments, I have not noticed anyone else with the problem, does all of the Z712 IS do this or just mine?
