I got it because it is so small. Navigating the menu is intuitive; so simple a child could use it. I've used it outside in the dark and had no problems using the controls or the menu. Battery charge lasts about 20 hours near as I can tell. I have the 4g version and it holds about 48 hours of music (I deleted the sample videos and songs and most of the sample pictures). It uses the Window Media Player to burn songs, so that is a simple process. It is Rhapsody compatible and mine came with a free one month subscription. I've had no problems. I carry it in a jean pocket so it's not that fragile. It has repeat continuously, repeat once and no repeat play. It also has shuffle on or off. There are about 7 equalizer settings. I am very happy with it.
