6/10 This one has too many flaws....

Well first let me tell you the positive. The HD picture from Dishnetwork is superb. It DOES have a lot of manual adjustments you can make to picture quality. It DOES have PIP although the controls are terrible. Now what is there not to like - It WILL NOT work with a PS3 or any other DVD player (HD-DVD) if you try to pass thru the HDMI signal via your Receiver (ONKYO-TX-SR875). You will get this "Mode not Supported" message. Also if you set the OSD mode to display and control the Receiver settings from the TV ( My Mitsubishi DLP had no issues with either whatsoever) you get a green screen. The "Mode not Supported" us well documented on the Samsung Forums. I have tried 1080P, Pass Through as well as the Auto settings and get the same message every time even with Blu-Ray Disks. It will never play a non blu-ray disk using pass thru, had to call Samsung support and the "EXPERT" READ the comment to me he had no clue what to do with it. The Speakers are TERRIBLE to say the least and actually you can hear much better behind the TV than in front ( what the heck were they thinking). This hiding the speakers is a joke to make the TV thinner etc. Yes people do not ALWAYS want to have sound blasted through their Receivers all the time. Samsung has no support just people they pay maybe 8 bucks an hour to read from their documents.
