It's my first HDTV, but my satisfaction ranks right next to when I bought my first CD player to replace my tape deck. Got it for $1699 at Jeff Lynch in time for the NBC Olympics, the 1080p is stunning with 1080p DishTV downloads, 1080i+720p HD broadcasts, the color is full and rich. It's installed in a big, sunny room but it never lacks brightness from any angle. I have to scoff a little at the LCD crowd's crowing, because this TV beats the pants off a higher priced LCD in the showroom lineup.
