---------------------

Total????? 37 out of 100 (average 3.7)

?

--------------------------------------------

Pros: ?The picture is excellent.? The quantity of INPUTS is GREAT.? Has speakers around the TV and can simulate stereo.? Color and contract controls are nice and very much needed.? Instructions are on CD and hard copy.? Ability to change screen from 4:3, 16:9, Zoom1 and Zoom2, and auto. 1 single audio output.

-----------------------------------

Cons:? Plays music on startup and shutdown, just like Windows OS (be happy, you can shut that feature off!)!? There are no instructions for programming the remote's DVD, VRC and other device buttons. There are no instructions on how to setup the SIMPLink.? There are NO instructions on most everything to do with this remote and TV.? Granted they go to the extreme of including a CD and hard copy of what they call "user instructions", however, it focuses on putting the stand together, labeling the parts of a tv, how to change the batteries in the remote, how to set the clock, how to run autoscan, and how to plug in devices. The TV requires AutoScan and there is no way to choose what it autoscans thus you will receive a ton of junk you don't want. There is NO video OUTPUT connection. The remote is large, buttons are very small, there is NO backlight and it is black so don't plan on using it except in daylight.? Frankly, you should just throw the remote away except you cannot because nothing seems to be compatible with the quck menu, menu, inputs and so on.? The screen size appears to have to be changed with every station you switch to and AUTO doesn't work at all.? There's no instructions on what the screen size selections are suppose to do so you just have to play until you figure out what works.? Speakers are fair to poor quality and you'll eventually want to hook it up to a home theater system. Based on the fact there are no outputs for video they are making the assumption you will not be using the TV strictly for over the air digital but that you will have it hooked up to some other device so you can record programs.
