I'm an old schooler,who,when in the old days pioneer was king,Of course things have changed consideribly.I was shopping around for a new avi for my new insignia tv.So I came across this model,so far so good it sounds great the remote is very basic,this could be a good thing because you can set up your reciever without it,unlike many other products, sony is huge for that.It's so easy to set up,just plug in the microphone (included) and it sets itself. all kinds of jacks,I live in an apartment and can't crank it up very loud.But,I'm getting very nice sound at low volume,so if you want a good reciever that is cheap and don't have alot of time to read the dictionary like manual this is the reciever for you
