2/10 4 months no working phone.

Placed order on January 9th 2009. It Arrived on the 20th. I did not work. I RMA it that day. CSR claimed 6-8 weeks for replacement! I was floored at the long turn around time, I asked if I could just buy a new one, but I was told I would be charged full price for both. I was also told that I would get a call from "operations" about expediting this. I never got a call. 48 hours later, I call back to speak to operations, and was told they would re-submitted the ticket with the same answer, "I would get a call in 24-48 hours". I gave up on expediting, but now 4 months later, I still have not received the replacement phone. I called and got a new trouble ticket # and the same promise that I would get a call from operations with in 24-48 hours. I'll believe it when I get it. So far I'm out the $$ for the phone and have nothing to show for it. My daughter who still has not received her birthday present is not a happy camper. I'm very disappointed.

Customer service has been great.Answered all my questions by email same/next day.I wanted to know exactly what i would pay a month and for what. At activation it was charging the pay as you go price of .10 a text and .32 daily usage--the pak i signed up for didnt transfer for some reason but I called Cust Service who corrected the issue & refunded the money that was charged to the phone's "wallet".There are no daily usage charges with text/talk paks.I got $14.99(total $15.74 a month)60min talk/unlimited text. The extra money you can put in the wallet stays there until you use it. No rollover minutes, but we mostly text. Got katana phone. Liked so much, decided to order rumor for daughter. Only paying $5 more a month than tmobile pay as you go ($26.50)on ONE phone with only 130 min of talk/text combined! Just hope her rumor doesnt turn out to be junk like so many reviews say it is. Wish the phones had sim cards. Look forward to using the parental controls when school starts again. And i like being able to see who shes talking to using the online site.
