6/10 An iPhone it is not.

I bought my wife a Delve because of the included internet and e-mail programs and also because of the cool factor. After using it for about a month we have had a few problems with it. First of all it eats the power! average battery life is less than 2 days with moderate use. Thanks goodness we got a free car charger when we bought the phone. Second, the contact list can be navigated either by using the arrow keys at the top of the screen or by flipping the list with your finger. One way is very slow on a large list and the other sometimes choose to pick a contact to delete instead of move the list or it goes to far and you have to flip back. It is sort of neat to watch the list roll up or down though. In my area the internet is very slow because only 1X data is offered. If you go through the US Cellular portal, it does take you to most of the mobile sites that are somewhat usable. The main reason we got the internet phone is to check on the weather and email when we are camping, and it does serve that purpose well. As far as the cool apps like you see for the iPhone though, they are not there unless you want to pay monthly fees for such things as Navigation and maps. I am impress with the quality of the phone. It feels solid and seems that it will last for at least the 2 year contract, but there are some things with the interface that does not work as well as they could. Personally I would look to the HTC or Smartphone if I needed all of the bells and whistles, mostly because I have a lot of MobilePC programs that I would like to use.
