1/10 Disappointing!

Disappointing! In my house 1 mile from Verizon cell tower I get 2 bars. Installed ZBoost YX500/510 CEL antennae on the roof. Three feet away from the base unit I get 4 bars. Five feet away, 3 bars. Ten feet away line of sight unobstructed view, 2 bars. Forget about covering the house.
