This is probably the MOST likely fuel to replace oil in the future. Internal combustion engines run on methane very nicely! Not only that, but the molecules are large enough that scent can be added (like natural gas) to detect leaks. Hydrogen is SO small that the scent molecules are LARGER than the gas - so you could have leaks that gave off no scent!

Didn't Tina Turner have a train engine that ran on biogas? wink
