government are us
Goverment is not an intangeable entity. Government is composed of individuals who have passed laws putting themselves above and beyond the response of the people they are supposed to serve.

The public has forgot they are government and it is there for us not for government individuals. Those government individuals have forgot they are there to serve the public and not for a company(s) or self serving interests.

Government employees, by passing laws where they are no longer held accountable to the people they serve, they can and do anything they like in their own interest instead of the job they should perform.

Cable companies have a monopoly the same as AT@T had at one time. It's improbable for any competing company to profit enough to lay new lines to customers already served.

Now, the real nitty gritty is the line belongs to Cable Company A. Are they required to share their lines with competition? It's a prickly issue. They built it, why should they be forced to share it? Yet, they are a monopoly in that area. US laws do not allow a monopoly.
always,
Barb
