For me the SPEED of cable far outweighs the low price of DSL. You get what you pay for.
Now, if SBC would offer the same speed as Time Warner for that low price I switch in a New York second.
Since I have had Road Runner from the time it came to my area SEVERAL years ago I don't get it for the "lower" price quoted in the article...my monthly bill for Road Runner is $44.95. My cable TV Standard Package is $40.59. Add "Taxes and Fees" to that & it totals a whopping $85.74 per month!
Some day ...SOON I hope... SBC will indeed offer at that low price the speed & the ability to run more than one computer with extra cost that I have come to get used to with RR.
