- Satellite companies will have to stay competitive
- With the telephone and cable companies both offering triple-play package deals, the satellite companies will have to offer something similar in order to stay competitive. The competition between faster cablemodem speeds and Verizon's FiOS are picking speeds up and lowering prices down. However, satellite internet service remains slower, expensive and suffers long latency times. I'd like to see satellite technology improve so that the satellite providers can also offer triple-play packages, too and compete with the cable and telephone companies.
