1/10 VIPRE New User

I purchased both the VIPRE pkg and the firewall. Before any one spends a nickel on this product do a Google search on SBAMSVC.exe. In the first two days, my PC has been locked up with 100% CP seven times. Also, there is an install bug that my require a delete, clean, and reinstall of a new copy of the VIPRE product. Full system scan is equal, in time, to AVG 8 (contrary to expert evaluation publications). I am leaving this product ASAP.
1/10 slow to load when windows starts

First off -- previous poster seems to be a bit confused because 'vipre' is from Sunbelt Software,and so is the file 'SBAMSvc.exe' Neither of them are connected to Avira Antivir which this page is for. So what's all that about? My own experience of Antivir (3 months ago) was not a pleasant one. Takes too long to load itself when Windows starts, and I don't like having to register every year to carry on using the same software - once in a lifetime should be enough.
