5/10 One Step Backward
taylorman56 - 12/06/08
First off, Dreamweaver continues to amaze me and is a fantastic product. It is still far superior to Expressions Web or any other competing product. Although it is still an excellent product I feel the program has not improved enough to justify the upgrade. The new version offers slightly incremental improvements, but doesn't seem to offer anything that really sets it above CS3. The new interface is a step backward from CS3. When you minimize the panels they still consume a significant amount of screen space, unlike CS3 where they disappear completely. In addition, the new style is dark, unattractive, and fits the look of an early 90's application, whereas CS3 offered a nice sleek look. I would have given this application a score of 10 if they had improved the features and left the interface alone. I am sorry Adobe but our company will not be upgrading this time around.
