Nope, just cheap labour
"there's gotta be something more than just cheap labour"

You can make the best quality product out there and people will flock to the cheapest. So if someone can do it cheaper that's where it gets made. Simple as that. If I can pay workers here to create software for $10 million or get the exact same quality in China or India for $3 million then China or India here I come. Simple economics really and can we blame these CEOs for doing? I think not. We all want our investments to grow so we can retire after all. Now if I'm in a job that is at risk to being given to the lowest bidder I need to find a way to make it so it's economically feasible for the company to keep me doing my job. If I can't do then I guess I'm out of job. It's just like business. If I have store and I price my stock to the point no is buying then I go out of business. My stock in my skills. Like it or not it's something I need to take into account. I've experienced loss of work due to autmation and I see this an no different.
