Theyre being hired by corporate America...

If you've worked internally at Bank of "America" then you'd know just how entrenched they are with India. They have succeeded in dumping highly paid (read: good local tax base individuals with strong spending patterns for the economy) out on the streets in lieu of hiring and nurturing development centers in India, especially, at the peril of our own nation.

Why? They claim its for better profits and thats all the shareholders care about. Fine. Why, then, have they lost money if they're saving so much damn money. Dont even begin to answer with the "mortgage crisis" because they should have seen THAT coming too. A general-finance-knowledge Joe Schmoe like myself saw a huge problem with this mortgage market in 2002. But no. They are too stupid to see past their own nose. The icing on that cake is their willingness to jump into bed with the creators of the mortgage crisis: Countrywide. Fools.

To get back on topic, the software from India and China and Vietnam flowing into these corporations is buggy and sloppy. ASK ANYONE remaining on staff here and they will tell you that if they dont fear losing their job. I already lost mine, so I dont mind telling you all - their software sucks, the large companies outsourcing to other nations have CEOs and board of directors with mental instabilities to think that their great plan isnt flawed.

There is nothing wrong with the American programmer. Period.

You can thank our nations corporations who outsource like they do for contributing to the collapse of our economy. When Joe isnt paid 60/hr to program and is reduced to saying "Hello, welcome to walmart" for $8/hr, theres A LOT that Joe can no longer purchase. And there's a lot of taxes that the local, state and federal government isnt going to get.

And there are thousands and thousands of us Joe's out there.
