Hold on a second fan boy
If Microsoft "IS" the standard, then why bother to stack the deck at the vote? In fact, why bother to play the game at all?

Microdaft is taking this process seriously only because the standards body has real teeth.

The sooner we migrate away from a proprietary document 'standard', the better even for loyal MSFT customers who will then KNOW that their next upgrade WILL read their older documents.
