You must be dreaming. OOXML is SO FAR technically inferior to ODF and it is not more than half baked.
The existing XML standards they do NOT adhere to, but even go to the extreme of having more than one way of setting the same tags, just because they don't do it the same way (for the same result and purpose) in speadsheets, presentations, an text.
And then this: They haven't even got the kalender right. The 29th of february is still a PROBLEM.
And you call this "technically superior" ?
Give us a break !
