What's the point of the certification if no app will comply with the cert s
pecs?

I don't understand this, Microsoft is going through all this trouble to get their OOXML standard ISO certified yet they're releasing a SDK that does not meet the criteria necessary for the ISO certification. Is it just me or is this a red flag that clearly indicates that Microsoft's only reason for ISO certification is to keep those government contracts? It doesn't seem like Microsoft is interested in being standards compliant at all, one can only hope that the government will wake up and see past the certification. Only then will Microsoft truly get that it's not the talking that matters, it's the doing and actual end product that matters. Unfortunately for Microsoft, money talks louder then anything else and it is that that is driving them to get this done...Just another company gone soleless corporation...
