Guru's often sell snake oil
The fact that MS have got all excited about XML confirms the fact that XML is largely a misconceived fad.

None of these things that he is proposing will work because XML is simply insufficient to do the job.

XML is a throwback to the hierarchical data management last used in the distant days of the seventies and early eighties and largely abandoned because of its unmanageability. Only the uneducated would try and revive this absurdity.

Don't be taken in by the XML hype! Just say firmly and politely no whether the hype is coming from MS or whereever.
