Creative's Zen is a better product for Windows
A main reason I avoided I-tunes is the crappy 128 and 320 kps bitrates available in the old SoundJam software. My Zen has nothing but wavs (cd files) and lossless audio formats on it but supports all bitrates well. Windows also recognizes the Zen as a drive without installing I-tunes. I-pod's snr is 89db and Zen's is 98db - you'd have to be hard of hearing to not notice... If you want compatibility and choice you don't get it with I-pod - or Macs in general.
