How many people actually upgraded
from Win98 to WinME? To have the new icons and the broken this and nonfunctional that.

Everybody I know who had WinME got stuck with it pre-loaded on a system they bought at the wrong time. Every one of them (except one) either wiped WinME and installed Win98 or Win2000, just to have a computer that worked!

XP -> Longhorn is starting to look a lot like 98 -> ME. A new paint job for the price of a whole car.
