What does that have to do with a business plan?

Why is it exactly that you feel you are entitled to freely obtain the fruits of someone else's labor? I'm genuinely curious.

RIAA companies are did their best to prevent any use of the internet for the distribution of music.
The result? The file swapping you're talking about.
So, they grudgingly allowed legal downloads, but insisted on getting huge fees for each download, so they make as much on downloads as they do on cd's, despite the lower cost of distribution and the chance of huge volume profits.

Eventually, the price will decrease and legal internet use will reduce if not eliminate illegal internet. And company profits will be higher than ever before. All the RIAA companies have to do is agree to accept the money.

Why shouldn't people get angry about having to war with the sellers in order to buy their products?
