Sorry to rain on your parade but I service computers in a variety of settings, both home and business and I'm sorry to say, the vast majority of people with computers DO download music as well as other digital media. At least in my part of the world. This includes everyone from kids to grandparents to company presidents. I'd have to peg the installs of file sharing software at about 90% of the systems I work on. The current download total for Kazaa alone is 307 million. What is the current total of PC's out there? You do the math. That's a lot of people to throw in jail. I think the industry needs to find other solutions to this problem.
