RE: The package will retail for $99.95
>> Now, 10 years later Windows has a 95% market share on the desktop and Linsucks still has less than one percent. At this torid growth rate Linsucks should overtake Windows around 2525. <<

Actually, Linux has passed Apple in market share in the US and left Apple way behind globally several years ago. As to free operating systems, Suse Linux 9.2, Mandrake Linux 10.1, Fedora Core 3, Slackware, Debian, SOT, Icepack, Ubuntu, and Kubuntu among others are still a free download or available online for about $3.00 per cd and each is easily the equal of WinXP and/or Apples OSX. There is very little that can be done in either WinXP or OSX that cannot be done in Linux with none of the unwanted baggage. There is nothing wrong with WinXP,SP2 or OSX. Now that Microsoft has been forced to pay attention to stability and security, it has become a more than passable system, and when Apple realised that they could not compete with their own OS and adopted BSD as the base of their OS they became a real player. Some of us who have tried all three prefer WinXP as some of us prefer OSX or Linux. Either way, there is nothing there to get your shorts in a twist over.
