It does not matter
MS Virtual server is inferior to VMWare's server products, it doesn't come close. As long as the MS Windows server or any Linux needs to be the host OS Virtual server is too inflexible for any real serious use. It the same reason why you can't use VM Workstation for any serious work, too much overhead and slight changes in the OS (such as kernel upgrades) screw it up. VMWare ESX server is probably the only one that I can think of that is itself the host on the machine and every OS is a guest OS.
