Macromedia, Adobe make peace for bigger fight
This is good news for a lot of us Web Designers. Go Live was a good product, Flash perhaps a tad better.

Design with Frontpage simply means incompatibility with most browsers other than IE because of MS's non-compliance with W3C standards in both Java Script and HTML.

And our dilemma, given MS's recent iterations of W3C compliance within IE means that Frontpage will no longer function properly unless it, too, is brought up to date with W3C standards. At which time it becomes incompatible with all previously designed web pages.

It seems MS once again has bitten off a bigger byte than it can chew, and I hope this merger of Adobe and Macrommedia means a new surge of progress for a change.
