Linux would be nothing if not for flash and acrobat support.
A Linux desktop computer or for that matter a Mac would be nothing more than a door stop without the cross platform support from Adobe and Macromedia.

And, look for them to use the cross platform abilities as a competitive advantage against Microsoft. Microsoft is desparate to deny a critical mass to Mac / Linux on the desktop in order to negate this advantage.

That said, look for them to screw Linux at some point if it benifits them financially.
