Ditto: Real Player is Horrible
"in the RealOne player. It pops up when you're not even using RealPlayer, and.. what's worse.. there appears to be no way to turn it off!"

sure there is: uninstall it, which is exactly what i did. i'm not fond of wmp, but real disgusted me with it's constant nagging and trying to access the network through my firewall when i wasn't even playing any media. whatever happened to the old realplayer that simply played your tunes and ripped your cd's? i love that and wished that they hadn't forced me to upgrade.
