it is hyppocritical for M$ to support SCO cause and claim independent
development. the current patent system doesn't care if you went it on your own if you in any way could have known about the prior art. since M$ had discussions with the company they cannot feign ignorance. they will certainly try and drag it through the courts for years and in the mean time put it in the OS and make millions off this one quirk. then they'll settle for a pittance and proclaim their undying innocence once again.
