True. In the case of Websphere: Linux+Websphere=MUCHO$$$$
Complain all you want about MS - sometimes their products aren't all they're cracked up to be. But in terms of value they're still pretty good, especially when compared to other commercial software companies. I know there are some out there who will use open source Java app servers but from what I'm seeing, few big businesses are doing that. They're getting Linux for "free" and then spending huge amounts of money on Websphere or Weblogic.
