This is the future ...
This is a brilliant move on the part of Microsoft. The age of 'one-size-fits-all" is over forever. Microsoft is finally emerging into the new era of software, an era of tailored systems designed to meet the specific needs of major market sectors. The highly customizable nature of MS's #1 competitor, LinuxOS is leading MS like the ring in the bull's nose into the future of computing. This indeed represends a sea change for the industry. And Linux vendors had better take note and continue to push there products hard into the major niches if they hope to continue to compete with MS.
