and Microsoft can't get it together: So Microsoft made a lot of promises it couldn't keep, like Avalon, and WinFS. I wonder what Longhorn will end up being. Sounds a lot like what we already have now. A whole lotta nothing.

Meanwhile, Apple with a tenth of the workforce or less, delivers on all their new features. Apple already has Quartz Extreme for graphics, and now they have CoreVideo and Core Image, which if you have seen their compositing application, Motion, you have an idea what these technologies can do. They are so far ahead of Microsoft now, and what junk Microsoft is so late to release, doesn't even compare to what Apple "IS" shipping in just a few weeks.
