You make some good points. Though there are plenty of Opensource companies these days with commercial products. Thought those are mainly Red Hat, Novell, and IBM which do not need the little bit of money from people like me on a single user machine running Fedora Core3. Which is also free and contributes to the development of in house RHEL at Red Hat. This company can start however by offering software that people actually want. Like there are free anti-virus software programs out there already for all operating systems on every distro of said systems. So maybe they can put out some thing I and others really need.
