huh....
You are an angry dood. It's not that big of a deal, really. I think your anger should be directed at the IT folks in businesses who spend all their budgets on NT and 200 servers, and windows clients for their offices. They've fed the fire for too long. Me being a meager branch IT manager, has not the freedom to choose the platform on which we operate. It's the big guys who probably shouldn't be in their positions who are buying this easy to use stuff instead of educating themselves and learning to use better tools. Or accepting the default settings for everything they install.
Powerpoint isn't that bad of a program, but it's available for the mac. So what's still holding us back from making a change? I personally believe that security lies in the hands of the end user much more than we'd like to admit, and therein lies the real problem. These people that actually need to understand that they cannot get away with glazing over and saying "I'm just not good with computers" any longer. So as long as this is allowed to continue, microsoft, being the dominant OS provider, will be blamed for all the stupid things that admins and users alike do with their computers....
ok....I'll shut up now...
Merry Christmas everuhbody!!
