Ah yes...
capitalism in all it's glory! This is a prime example of how dangerous capitalism can be if not controlled and tempered with other forms of government.

On a side note, you may be interested to know that China is now the fastest growing economy in the world. Kinda scary since they are a communist country still.

I am not saying I wanna go there, nor do I agree with how they run things, but just wanted to point out that the communists are doing what the western world said communism cannot possibly do. Kinda makes you think... doesn't it?

Just some points to ponder, but back to the article at hand (so I don't get deleted...)

Microsoft can try all they want, but in the majority of the world, people are tired of being enslaved to American technology. With Linux and the BSD's, many of the nations whose GNP isn't even a fraction of California's debt, free will win out over any amount greater than $0.00. Then let's throw in the fact software to actually do anything productive... another cost that is free with the Linux solution. You think Microsoft will allow their office suite to be given away? Nope... and they sure do want to stop OpenOffice... so they will reduce the cost on Office... but again Free as in $0.00 will win out over anything greater then $0.00.
