In this case, money = justice
---Most (if not all) of these companies are after money, not "justice".---

From reading this article, it sounds like the act in question was Microsoft charging Gateway more money for copies of software when they wouldn't accede to promoting IE over Netscape. So what do you think is more fitting "justice" than a return of that money, plus interest?
