OO - A disruptive technology?
OpenOffice bears all of the fingerprints of a disruptive technology. Users are already satisfied by the technology they have. They don't need, and may be unwilling to pay for more features. MS Office, while it may be a superior technology, is challenged by free software that also meets most users needs. OO will continue to improve. MS Office will eventually go the way of 8-inch hard drives.
