Exactly what was said when Linus decided to move the development to BK? What options were available then and what are available now in code management? I have already listed a few (as a hint) though I am guessingthat you arre not a developer and have never worked on any projects of any scale. What was the deal that BK and LT made? If you don't have answers for that, you have no arguement!

Why don't you email McVoy and get his side of the story? I am sure he is not deep pockets like those corporations you mentioned.

And how do you know that I have not been meeting with him recently in person to discuss these issues (or others)? You are showing some major cluelessness if you have not figured out yet that the entoties that I named (the corporations) are not contributing to the development of the kernel.

This is a large scale distributed development systems and they are just moving on to something else. It is as simple as that. This is just business, not playing games like child. Yes there is money involved in the development of Linux and perhaps there are reasons that are not being made public in this pathetic tabloid article that you should be reading!
