Yes, with what BK did, this will attract some of the best.
And, in the end, we will have something that all of the big open source projects can use. This might turn out good in the end. Kind of like the SCO suit waking everybody up and forcing everybody to clean up their act, and get many of the intelectual property issues resolved, or at least understood. And, that said, the new system should do a good job of tracking all of the contributions as needed for legal purposes!
