OK, so Sun doesn't like the fact that the GPL prohibits software licensed under its terms to serve as the basis for proprietory development. That's exactly what RMS was trying to prevent when he wrote the GPL in the first place, so they're not likely to get the FSF or anyone else who publishes code under the GPL to change their minds (though some of the more pragmatic developers might consider alternative terms in exchange for financial consideration).

It's certainly not wrong to license code under such terms (whether it's wise is a matter of debate), so Sun has no valid complaint.
