No tax problem
His problems with reducing taxes paid really make no sense. If this work is done by out of work engineers, then they don't pay taxes anyway. If I get SuSe and Star Office seperately for about $150 (no reason to spend that much really, but It's still a verifiable number), that is still $700 cheaper that the Microsoft equivilant. Do I then not spend that money? Yeah right. I spend it elsewhere. The government still gets their taxes, I just have more stuff to show for it.
