Linux 2.6
"Every O/S has it's strengths, but I am really sick of Windows proponents trying to bash on Linux."

And I'm really sick of Linux fanboys trying to bash anything that isn't Linux. Go get yourself a real unix like FreeBSD and harness its power. You won't go back to that hacked up clone of an os you seem to be praising. Oh and if you don't think Linux has any bloat then perhaps that 1.5 gigs on a standard install is lying.
