I agree with every single point you made.
But a couple of thing I would like to point out:
Portability--I have a laptop and 2 home computers and because of DRM the ebook is locked onto only one machine.
Price--publishing and distributing an ebook costs less than a printed book. Why isn't this reflected in the cost of the ebook? If the cost is the same, and I have more 'portability' with a printed book, I will generally buy the printed book. period.

Until the people who publish ebooks address these issues, the market will remain nascent. If I may draw a parallel to a police state: you can only read an ebook if you follow their police state rules. If they loosen their rules up a little, sure there may be some piracy--but that will be far outweighed by greater amount of sales that will happen. This is a lesson that the RIAA is painfully learning. In trying to absolutely stamp out piracy and absolutely forcing people to abide by their business model, the RIAA has alienated a lot of people. With the DRM on ebooks, it is much the same....people aren't biting because the business model isn't convenient and cheap enough.
Let's hope the ebook people figure this out.
