Solaris 10 is awesome, and open-sourcing the product will only make it better. I'm a huge Linux fan, and will continue to run and support Linux, but I'm very interested in the development of Solaris as well.
Solaris 10 has recently won several performace world records on AMD hardware. They're not kidding, Solaris 10 is fast!
