I don't get Identity Management...
Identity Management, from what some people have told me, is needed when you don't have homogeneous systems in your enterprise. Anyone who purchases this software is admitting failure by not standardizing on Active Directory across the board. A core Active Directory is the single most important thing in the world for any company. I have deployed 50 forests and 200 domains and use Microsoft's MIIS 2003 product to flow stuff all over the place. We had no need for this software but my rep talked me into it and I snuck it into the budget under the title "Be secure, feel secure".
